This website is operated for the owner of Cowabungalowe, Peaks West 53, Sun Peaks. Top of the Mountain handles direct booking inquiries and manages the property.

What we collect

When you inquire, we save your name, email, requested dates, guest count, optional notes, consent, and an inquiry reference. We also record campaign tags on the page and the referring website’s hostname when available, to document where an inquiry came from. A daily hashed network identifier helps limit spam; we do not save your raw IP address in the inquiry table.

How it is used

Your inquiry is shared with accommodations@topofthemountain.ca and copied to the owner, Thomas Lowe, to answer your question, arrange a possible booking, and document the owner’s referral. If automatic email is unavailable, the website asks you to send a prepared email. A saved inquiry alone does not mean an email has been sent or a booking confirmed.

Service providers

The website and inquiry records use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. When enabled, Resend processes inquiry emails. Your email provider also handles any message you choose to send yourself. Services may process data outside Canada. Access to inquiry records is restricted to authorized administration; there is no public guest directory.

Your choices

You may use the Airbnb booking link without completing this form. Airbnb has its own privacy policy and handles information you submit there. We do not automatically subscribe inquiry guests to marketing emails. Please avoid putting sensitive information or payment details in the notes.

Access and deletion

Contact thomaslowe16@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your inquiry. We aim to remove unconverted inquiry records after 12 months; deletion is handled by the owner, not an automatic purge. Records needed for bookings or accounting may need to be retained separately.
